Diamond Hunters …
Lets Welcome our new leaders for the Diamond Hunter's Group: Camin Potts and Judy Nelson.
Wisconsin--Go Deeper with the Diamond Hunters!
History is told in our earth and some believe looking back is a way to learn to go forward. If you like science, geology, history, or just rocks/fossils and arrowheads, join us as we go deeper than the books and find out for ourselves.
The Diamond Hunters are a group of kids and parents who are interested in Geology and History. Being a member means sharing the same interests with others, trips to quarries or riverbeds for arrowheads, fossils, rocks and minerals, and full access to the lapidary shop with the Oshkosh Earth Science Group.
If you join, you will learn about geology and history told by rocks in fossils. You will join in on outings to find rocks, minerals and fossil treasures once a month (weather permitting). In the winter months, join us at the University of Geology in Oshkosh for neat projects and you will recieve a quarterly newsletter.
